Who We Are

I’m Jake Martin, the founder and lead engineer of Martin Design Group, a veteran-owned professional engineering firm dedicated to delivering specialized services in airport engineering, military construction, facility management, and forensic engineering. With over 16 years of service in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 10 years of airport engineering expertise with the Federal Aviation Administration, and 5 years shaping highway design and construction with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, I bring a wealth of experience to every project.

Headquartered in Lindstrom, Minnesota, Martin Design Group serves the Twin Cities metro area, greater Minnesota, and Wisconsin. My team and I combine technical precision with an in-depth understanding of local and federal regulations to deliver tailored solutions for clients, from government agencies to private developers. Our forensic investigations pinpoint the causes of facility component failures, ensuring safer, higher-performing structures through expert analysis and repair recommendations.
